Overview
Since you will be designing a website this semester, it is a smart idea to have a good grasp on how to tell if a website is "good" or "bad" based on several qualifications.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of this project, you will be able to:
- Understand how content, structure, navigation, visual design, fuctionality, interactivity, and over experience help influence a positive and negative browsing experience.
- Use a piece of presentational technology appropriately
Activities
Presentation Specifics
You will create a presentation comparing two websites: A "Good" website and a "Bad" website.
You will present this presentation to the class. However, you will not use PowerPoint. You may use Glogster (if accessible), Weebly, Prezi (preferred), or MovieMaker. If you have another presentation software that you'd like to use please discuss it with me first but will probably be approved.
You will have four days to complete this individual project. The project file is located at the bottom of this page.
There will be two presentation days. Regardless of the due date you are selected to present on, you must be finished on Monday and have submitted to me via email or through dropbox. You may not edit it before you project once submitted by 11:59 p.m. Monday.
